March 27, 2008 Thanks to everyone who came out to see Kilroy at SXSW! Congrats to Jeff Mues of Dallas who won the Fender Strat that the boys were playing during the show. After putting 23,000 miles on our van since last October (in direct violation of our 15k mile lease limit per year), we gave her a good bath and are letting her take a nap - we're taking some time off too. January 28, 2008 Kilroy's "I've Got A Secret" has been the Number One Ranked Rock song in the Midwest on OurStage.com for two months in a row.

The band also finished both November and December with the Number Two ranked song in the country. "I've Got A Secret" is also in the Top 20 of Rock. OurStage.com promotes quality music by allowing the fans to judge in head to head competitions and then compiles fair, unbiased rankings based on those competitions. 	January 16, 2008 Thanks to everyone who came out to see us in NYC and DC last weekend! The Kilroymobile logged over 1,500 miles in four days and we're just resting up now for two shows this weekend in Wisco and a Packers' win on Sunday!
After playing in NYC on Friday night, we packed up the van and headed south down 95. We rolled in to DC mid-morning, rested, watched the Packer game and heading to the Grog to play. After a fun show, a temporary theft of the band megaphone and some help from the U.S. Secret Service, Kilroy was back on the road home.

January 8, 2008 Kilroy will be in NYC again next Friday, January 11th, to compete in the second round of the Shure Microphone National Band Search. Kilroy is scheduled to play a 45 minute set at 10:30PM at Blaggard's in Midtown (8 W. 38th St. b/t 5th and 6th) - let the door know that you're in support of Kilroy. After the show, we are heading down to DC for a Saturday night show, January 12th, at the Grog & Tankard in upper Georgetown (3408 Wisconsin Avenue, NW). Kilroy plays from 11:30pm until close.

December 17, 2007 Kilroy will be playing in Chicago on Saturday, December 22nd at the Double Door. Doors are at 8PM, show at 9PM - for those with holiday parties to juggle, Kilroy will be going on around 9:45/10:00PM. Our co-conspirators are the Gyps and the Wabash Cannonballs.

As the leaves turn and temps drop in the Kettle Moraine, Kilroy is preparing to head south with the rest of the snow birds. We're leaving lovely Oshkosh this Friday and heading down to Miami to play at the Ford 400 Nascar Championship. Along the way, we'll be playing in Alabama, Georgia and Northern Florida. Greetings from new york city! We have just finished our wednesday CMJ showcase at Crash Mansion, hightailed in a caravan of taxis to a late night gig at the Parkside Lounge. We played Otto's last night and had a blast. Thanks to all for coming out. We'll post a full recap, pictures and video next week.

Kilroy will be playing in New York City, October 16-20, as part of CMJ's Music Marathon, the world's longest running music showcase event. We should have details on the 'when' and 'where' of our official CMJ showcase in two or three weeks. We will make good use of our time in Manhattan and are aiming to play a couple of gigs that we'll schedule around the CMJ showcase. Some of the headline acts at CMJ this year include: Spoon, M.I.A., Justice, MSTRKRFT and Band of Horses - we'll ride those coattails any day!

We're putting the finishing touches on a November Southeast tour that will wind up at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino outside Miami in conjunction with the Ford 400 Nascar Race. We've also been in and out of Smart Studios in '07 and aiming to put some brand new music out in 2008.

Many thanks to all who braved the heat and came out for our Summerfest show. The band collectively lost about 30 pounds while playing! We got Bad Genie in Milwaukee tomorrow night then back in the studio July 16 and 17 for a special session.

Kilroy recently added a fourth – the home-schooled wonderkid Nate McDowell to thicken up the sound. Equally at home with a guitar, at the keyboard or behind a mic, Nate is a welcome addition to the unit – just don't look him in the eye and never mention his omnipresent duffle bag.
